Faron has worked in the independent music and entertainment industry for over 10 years building a wide knowledge base and contact network. He graduated from the University of North London with an honours degree in Marketing, and set up M&M Promotions and dance music label Funktastique Records with partners Minou Mendes, Stathis Lazarides, Ayoze and Francisco Chicote. The label had two releases on vinyl distributed by Greyhound Records called “Way Back - Lost Connection” & “Summer Soul”, which received critical acclaim in DJ Mag and IDJ. Faron went on to build a roster/mailing list of high profile DJs and producers who helped to build exposure for the tracks. This list included; Lil Louis Vega and Kenny Dope of Masters at Work, Eric Morillo of Subliminal Records, Roger Sanchez of Release Yourself and Grammy award winner David Morales. For the launch of the label he brokered a deal with Ministry of Sound for the labels head liner DJ Ayoze to appear along side Montréal’s legendary DJ/Producer Julius Papp.

Faron’s next move was into broadcast media, starting at Channel 5 within the newly created Sponsorship & Sales division and quickly became a key team member, helping to secure the Peugeot film sponsorship deal. Utilising his network and relationships with DJs he also brokered some deals to allow Channel 5 to use dance music for bedding music within their programming.

After a visit to New Jersey, he took up the position of European Label Manager for Deep Vision Records, headed up by Sandy Rivera of Kings of Tomorrow and began working closely with Europe’s largest dance music label DEFECTED, as well as Ministry of Sound. He pitched their back catalogue to MANGA who listed the labels music for bedding music for the animated productions, as well as another Halewood International campaign for their ongoing promotion of the brand Red Square, who licensed “Young Hearts” from the labels portfolio.

In 2005, using his wealth of contacts and experience, Faron and partner set up Rhythm and Muse Publishing, Library and Records. The Record label was digitally distributed by The Orchard, whilst physical distribution was handled by Proper Music Distribution. Through his network he secured contracts and product retainers for the Library with; ITV, Channel 4, History Channel, Virgin Media, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, THQ Games and for synchronisation into adverts, film and video games. He created and launched the concept of Audio Branding in the UK which was a new technique to the territory originating from the US. The technique uses music as part of the sensory branding experience. He also secured live performances for the Andy Davies Quartet at the renowned jazz club “606” and then at “Pizza Express, Soho”. For rising acts these venues are almost impenetrable.

Faron launched ‘Represent Me LTD in 2008, which is consultancy proficient in Entertainment, Media, Arts & Fashion. Represent Me links content users with content suppliers across a variety of platforms and channels.

For the last 5 years, Faron has been a mentor at the Aiming High event, where he is a Keynote Speaker to teenagers aged between 12-13. Aiming High celebrated more than a decade of success when it held its 11th event for young people in March 2009. More than 100 teenagers celebrated the anniversary of the event designed to help inspire and motivate pupils from high schools across Birmingham (UK). The event, held at the Bethal Convention Centre, in Kelvin Way, West Bromwich, gets pupils to think about their career options and barriers to learning. Faron’s address was “The Power of Decision and How to utilise to mould your Future”. Students commented on how funny, inspiring and insightful the address was, and as a result Faron has been invited to give numerous talks across a number of schools throughout 2009 in Birmingham.
